This painting was referenced from several personal photos taken while on a boat. The Point Fermin lighthouse sits on the top of the bluff above Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, CA. My childhood haunt on the beach and above on the bluff is the location of my demonstration for a Colour In Your Life video. I emphasized the heavy surf and placement of the Seagulls to add action as well as drama.
