A watercolor painting on 300lb. watercolor paper. This painting is from a photograph I took of my granddaughter painting pottery. Her expression of total absorption captivated me as did the light coming in from the windows that surrounded her. In this case the light reads as white which creates an interesting framework of negative space around her.
